OUR MISSION

The Angel Fund was started in 2017 to benefit sick and/or injured animals at Montgomery County Animal Care and Control in Clarksville, TN. This shelter receives hundreds of stray
and owner surrender animals each month. Our goal is to assist animals with injuries or
special needs with vetting and other services to prepare them for rescue or adoption.

The County does not have the budget to cover expensive medical procedures for animals.
If these issues are not addressed, the animal will not be adopted or have a chance at rescue.  Unfortunately, these animals are usually euthanized. We are trying to prevent
this situation as much as possible. Take a look at the animals we have helped so far!
These animals are alive today because of this fund!  We can make a difference!

STORIES
Without the generosity of the Montgomery County Angel Fund covering the costs of Dale’s treatments and anything else he needed along the way, none of this would’ve been possible. The paragraph below is about all things Dale wouldn’t have been if not for MC Angel Fund. My family is forever grateful for the Angel Fund giving Dale the chance to live a healthy, happy life. Thank you SO very much for your kindness, your loving heart, and all you do for the shelter babies. Thank you for being Dale’s hero!

Dale is a big ol' baby, a gentle giant. A solid 80 pounds of muscle and goofball. He’s such a lover and smart boy. Treats make his world go round and he does a cute little butt wiggle for them. He loves to go on walks and play with my 6 year old, who tells anyone listening that he is her best friend. He digs ear rubs and belly scratches. He nibbles your fingers if you aren’t giving him enough attention. He’s claimed my favorite blanket as his own and I’m 100% ok with it. He likes to be in bed by 9:30 every night otherwise he turns into a grumpy toddler. He sleeps on the foot of my bed every night. Holds the title of loudest household snore champion. Those soulful eyes of his tell a story. His absolute favorite toy is the Kong that he brought with him from the shelter. He sits with it in his mouth sometimes almost like a pacifier. It’s adorable. His fur feels like velvet. He’s not a fan of taking baths but deals with it because of how much he loves being brushed after. I could go on about Dale forever. He’s just an awesome dog. Having him in our home and being able to love him through the treatments he needed to kick nasty heart worm butts has been the biggest blessing to us. It’s made us realize that he is the piece we’ve been missing from our family puzzle.
