We are helping 2 more dogs today - both Labs - Sadie and Handsome. Both Labs have ear issues. Handsome’s ear was so impacted that he had to be sedated so the ear could be cleaned out. Handsome is also heart worm positive. Please consider donating to the Angel Fund to help these babies.

Drake was surrendered to AC with a broken leg, one that had been broken for about 2 weeks. The owner had taken him to a vet but only got pain meds for him. He’s only 5 months old and deserves a chance at a good life. AC took him to the vet, and X-rays were taken that looked good at first. They thought that there was a chance to save his leg. However, when they went in to operate, there was too much scar tissue ( if he had been taken to a vet sooner, his leg could have been saved), and his right rear leg was amputated. The next day when he could leave the vet, he stood right up and walked out to the car to live in his foster home. He’s doing great. And expected to be finished up with rechecks in about a week. He will be going to rescue soon. There are some hefty charges associated with Drake’s care, so please donate to help him! Thank you!
DONATE TODAY TO HELP DRAKE & OTHERS Baxter, a Border Collie mix was found as a stray in the Clarksville, Tn area and taken to Animal Control. No one came looking for him. Notified that he was in need, a no kill shelter stepped up to help him without any knowledge of his medical condition. Baxter has been at a local clinic having a series of tests run to identify his needs. Baxter tested heart worm positive, has lung inflammation as a result of this, has elevated labs, a low grade heart murmur, and a bacterial skin infection. These results are due to severe neglect that he has experienced, yet through all of the bad, he will not experience this again. A rescue in KY has committed to helping Baxter, and this is where we need your help. His short stay and testing and medications to start his heart worm treatment have already reached a $450 vetting bill. This is just the beginning of months and additional costs of treatment. We have donated $200 to cover part of his treatment. Please donate so we can continue to help Baxter and all the other animals we can save. DONATE TODAY TO HELP BAXTER & OTHERS |
